About Our Parkinson’s Home Care Services
People with Parkinson’s often have trouble carrying out routine activities around the home. This can be frustrating when trying to lead a normal, happy life. Our Parkinson’s Disease home care programmes can be tailored to meet the individual needs of your loved one and assist them in whichever areas they need the most help, allowing them to get on with enjoying life.
We’ll work with the client and their family to design a home care plan that works for them, ensuring that the household environment is set up in a way that makes day-to-day life as easy and comfortable as possible.
Home Assistance
Our Parkinson’s disease home care services can include assistance with daily routines, such as showering or taking a bath, getting dressed in the morning or getting ready for bed in the evening. We can help with personal grooming such as shaving, brushing hair, or dental care.
We can prepare a hot meal or drink, provide support with medication routines, and check that the home is secure before clients go to sleep at night. We would be happy to carry out any domestic tasks that need doing too. We can clean, iron clothes, dust, do the laundry, make the bed, and vacuum.
Remaining Part Of The Community
We also understand that being part of the local community is hugely important. We can join clients if required on shopping trips, to see friends and family, or take part in the activities that they enjoy. We can also accompany clients to medical appointments; we’re here whenever they need us.
